Nausicaä was born as the second generation of artisanal ice cream makers. This time, with a perspective of their own: contemporary, sensitive, and full of character. They arrived in the neighborhood with a clear intention: to create a space for slowing down and enjoying a delicious, handcrafted ice cream with innovative flavors, or a good cup of coffee surrounded by the work of emerging artists.
From the brand design, we leaned into their core values: a love of craftsmanship, human connection, and the art of the pause. That’s why we built an identity inspired by elements of Japanese aesthetics, enhancing the brand’s philosophy: the pause as a value, craftsmanship as a choice, and simplicity as a language.
We defined a soft palette of beige tones to invite calm, paired with subtle reds to create moments of focus. As the brand’s character, we created Nausicaä the cat, a symbol of youth and curiosity, always experimenting with bold flavors and fresh artistic ideas.
Nausicaä was born as a continuation of a family story: the second generation of artisanal ice cream makers, growing with the same dedication to quality and the joy of sharing.
