Usina del Arte is a cultural center located in the city of Buenos Aires, offering programming for the whole family. Its agenda ranges from classical music concerts and culinary workshops to audiovisual exhibitions that celebrate culture in all its forms.
Below are the identities and communication campaigns for several festivals where I collaborated on the creative direction, following the guidelines of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. Throughout this process, we ensured visual consistency across digital platforms, printed materials, and environmental signage.

Buenos Aires Jazz
It is an annual music festival organized by the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires, bringing together national and international artists. It’s a must-attend event for jazz lovers and curious music enthusiasts alike.
The festival’s goal is to bring jazz closer to the general public, reflecting its urban and approachable spirit.
To support this, I developed a visual system that incorporates everyday illustrations of Buenos Aires, using pattern repetition and layered compositions to evoke the genre’s sound in a fresh and playful way. I also coordinated the design team and managed production deliveries.
Ciudad Emergente
It is an annual festival held in the surroundings of Usina del Arte. It offers free concerts and activities mainly aimed at the city’s young audience. There are also activities for the whole family, along with a large food court. Music plays a central role, with a focus on emerging artists. Rock, reggae, ska, punk, heavy metal, and blues fill the city with sound, inviting people to come together and enjoy.
We were tasked with incorporating heroines representing the festival’s key themes, including music, ecology, gastronomy, film, and technology. Based on this, we developed, together with the design team, an identity inspired by the world of comics that captured the festival’s approachable, youthful, and playful spirit.
I coordinated the development of all creative assets with the team and managed the delivery of final files to production.
BAFICI
It is the most important independent film festival in Latin America. It takes place annually and is known for its innovative and cutting-edge programming. Its mission is to showcase and promote independent cinema, featuring feature films, short films, documentaries, and other formats by both national and international filmmakers. The festival also offers talks, workshops, project presentations, and meetings with renowned filmmakers, all within a vibrant and distinctive atmosphere.
The project involved the design of multiple print and digital assets. A graphic system was developed, including the redesign of the festival’s mascot. The images shown below focus primarily on the printed materials created for the project.
